Herwin Buccat’s “Roots of Gaea” and Mel Cabriana’s “Ilusyon” will be presented simultaneously by Galerie Anna on November 13-27.
Named after the Greek primordial goddess of the Earth, Buccat’s “Gaea” celebrates the fertility of the land using the dense and intricate web of roots to form her mysterious visage. On the other hand, Cabriana’s works are rooted in the primal purity of nature in danger of despoliation at the merciless hands of man.
