As mentioned in a previous post, Raul Isidro’s Landscapes was scheduled to launch at the Ayala Museum Artistspace on July 26, 2017.
Luckily, I was able to make it to said art exhibit and even had a few minutes of catching up with the Big Man himself. I would have loved to spend more time with Raul, but duty calls and Raul had to entertain his other guests.
I happily looked around to marvel at Raul’s best pieces of abstracted landscapes series. Looking at Raul’s paintings, it is no wonder why he is a renowned abstractionist. Not surprising why he was also Director of Fine Arts at PWU in 1975 since Raul’s works will inspire you to create your own magical canvas, sculpture, or any piece of art that you prefer.
Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if Raul Isidro and Fil delacruz are next in line to being recognized as the next National Artists of the Philippines.
