Graphic Design With Canva Turned Into My Own Armory

I’ve had this site for some years now, but I’ve been going back and forth with posting due to lack of time and finding appropriate content for the site.

Ironically, the COVID 19 pandemic has given me more time in creating content. However, this pandemic’s been going on for far too long and it is unfortunate that so many people have been affected. I pray that we are able to get over this challenge soon and that a vaccine be created ASAP.

Over the years, I’ve been trying different applications, hoping to find easy to use apps that feature lots of tools.

I’ve also learned about Canva being founded in 2013, which is years before I even had this site. From then on I’ve been curious about it because I’ve been hearing a lot of good things.

While we are waiting it out for this pandemic to end, I’ve finally had time to work on my site and to try out Canva for myself.

When I decided to launch a new section on my site entitled Primer, where I feature different artists, to be able to show to the world how they work and their thought process, I truly enjoy using Canva for all my creative requirements for the site and social media.

Canva has lots of elements and effects that you can choose from, which is why I now use Canva for my site, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook profiles.

I appreciate this platform having templates for all possible sizes/ specs you need. If you need to do your Facebook post or blog banner, there’s a template size for that in Canva. Before I can only do .png and .jpg file for the materials I create. Now I can do animation on my creative materials. Canva helped me    expand my creativity to the next level.

Browsing the selection of Canva fonts, I am very comfortable or you can say “I’m Home” when I saw a font called “Belleza”. For sure, it is coincidental to have my surname on the font name selection. Also fun fact that in Spanish, Belleza means Beauty. It’s an honor see our family name on the font list.

Canva is an intuitive online design and publishing platform with a mission to empower everyone in the world to design anything and publish anywhere. Canva is available on web, iOS and Android. And because Canva is quite accessible, whenever I think something for the site, I can easily grab my phone and create the post because Canva is about using your mobile and your laptop.

It’s graphic design platform that allows users to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. It is available on web and mobile, and integrates millions of images, fonts, templates and illustrations

Canva is available worldwide they make sure to brings its users a vibrant and hyperlocal Filipino font collection inspired by geography, language, culture, and local flavor.
