“Synergism 2018”, the Philippines-Malaysia Artists Program, will formally open on November 20, 2018 at the Robinson’s Galleria, EDSA corner Ortigas Avenue. Participating Filipino artists are: Nemi Miranda, Jessie Marinas, Roy Espinosa, Augusto Santiago, Arturo Tinonas, Kim Mamaril, Mylene Quito, Melli Villavicencio, Bing Famoso, and Alpha Larracas. The Malaysian artists contingent are: Harold Reagan Eswar, Hidawati Amin, Sanae Yamada, Thineswari Govindasamy, Zurin Shaari, Visithra Manikam, Nurul Helwa Zakaria, Abu Jalal Sarimon, Aleff Ahmad, Loo Ley See, and Cheong Mai Fong.
On November 22, a mosaic workshop will be held at Mozzaico in the Libis showroom. This is a brainchild of Mr. Sasan Maher. The public is invited to observe the creation of a mosaic work, assembled from small pieces of colored glass, stone, and other materials.
The Malaysian leg of the show will be held in March 2019.
