Kristo Davao 2021 Art Exhibition “The Spring of Life and Inspirations” will open on November 27 until December 11, 2021 at The Foyer of La Herencia Events Center, Davao City.
Curated by Rodney Yap, Kristo Davao 2021 forms part of the Annual Kristo Art. Exhibition series conceptualized by Salvador “Buddy” Ching since 2005.
In observance of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines (YOC) Quincentennial, this year’s theme “The Spring of Life and Inspirations” translates a showcase of visual expressions in Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Printmaking and Mixed Media amidst the plight of this pandemic.
Organized by Art de Triomphe Davao, this exhibit envisions a one Davao embracing faith and art in celebration.
The exhibition is also giving recognition and respect to Professor Santiago Albano “Jak” Pilar, art historian, curator, author, art connoisseur ( 15 October 1946 – 12 April 2021 ) He is an Inspiration, Adviser and Avid Supporter of Art de Triomphe’s visions and advocacy since the Kristo Davao 2020 exhibit.
