Prose and Poetry: An Abstract Exhibition @ Power Plant Mall

Prose and Poetry: An Abstract Exhibition @ Power Plant Mall

The works for “Prose and Poetry” are celebrations of the mystery, magnitude and dynamism of life, an expression of the infinite flow of light and the expansion of inner consciousness. They work on many levels simultaneously: unity in diversity, space and form, light and color, silence and movement, inner and outer awareness. They are made in a kind of joyous improvisational duet with the rhythms of nature, a visual gospel of hymns singing the praise of nature and life.

The paintings are both atmospheric and concrete, flowing back and forth between movement and stability. Each new painting is a joyous revelation creating a discrete world unto itself.

Works for “Prose and Poetry” evolve as each artist work on their craft, building layers over the textured surface and using color to create a sense of depth. The exhibit serves as an invitation for the audience to look beneath the surface of color, texture, and form and to uncover new ways of encountering themselves and discovering a world rich with possibility and promise through abstract art.
