The Visual Arts Guild presents their solo exhibition, “Romancing with Light” at the Legacy Art Gallery. The show opens on May 2.
Participating artists are: Romulo Galicano, Dante Silverio, Ed Lantin, Gig de Pio, Junn Rocxa, Romeo Ballada, Julz Punzalan, Horace Gillego, Otto Neri, Maridi Nivera, Rellie Liwag, Lita Wells, Tina Periquet, Tessa Mendoza, and Cesar Aljame. Guest artists are: Andi Cubi and Clint Normandia.
The artists investigate and explore the force and mystery of light, and how its luminous emanation and vibration through colored pigments heighten our awareness and appreciation of reality even as it intensifies emotion and gives shape to landscape, still life, portrait, or non-physical, abstract realms.
“Romancing with Light” runs until June 6.
